I join our Christian compatriots and all other Nigerians in giving thanks to God Almighty whose Grace and Benevolence has helped our nation to overcome the many challenges it has had since we celebrated Christmas last year.
The annual commemoration of the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ is a most auspicious time for us, as individuals and as a nation, to rededicate ourselves to the virtues and ideals which the Messiah preached and exemplified during his earthly ministry. Continue Reading

“With what the State Government is doing in terms of projects and programmes, the Government is keying into the transformation agenda of the Federal Government which, I believe the benefits of these will definitely turn things around quickly for the better.
On my part as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I will remain committed and focused to keeping Nigeria united and peaceful under the banner of God who made it possible for me to be here as your elected President in that free and fair election”

“I can bear testimony to God’s abiding mercies and blessings upon this land. You are all aware of what is going on and our State is on a new page of hope. In spite of the numerous projects going on across the nooks and crannies of our State, I have never heard of any serious disturbance from any community that has led to any stoppage of work. And that is testimony to the goodness of God and to the peace, stability and development and therefore prosperity that has come to reign in all the parts of our State.”
In a message, the Guest speaker, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, stressed the need for people to always appreciate God’s blessings irrespective of their challenges as they are stepping stones in life.

Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson has attributed the success of his Restoration Government to the divine will of God Almighty.
Governor Dickson stated this at a rally, tagged “The Restoration We Need,” packaged to serve as a prelude to the forthcoming Bayelsa Thanksgiving Day scheduled for the 2nd of November, at the main-bowl of the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.
Recalling his assumption of office, the Governor remarked that a key aspect of the Restoration Government was to give God a place in the affairs of the State, noting that it has yielded positive results as the State has continued to make steady progress in key sectors.
According to Governor Dickson it is on this premise that, the State Government legalized November 2nd of every year as Thanksgiving Day to appreciate and reverence God for all the answered prayers and blessings to the State.
Governor Dickson, who also expressed gratitude to God, described his elevation to the position of Governor of the State, as divine noting that “God giveth power to whosoever He chooses and taketh back whenever He pleases”.
The Bayelsa State Chief Executive admonished youths and those interested in political power that being the best and wealthiest candidate was not a guarantee for success.
Delivering a message with the theme, “The Restoration We need,” the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, urged the people to always cultivate the habit of thanking God in order to attract more blessings.
Pastor Adeboye also highlighted the benefits of establishing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to include enjoying total restoration in all spheres of life such as, good health, freedom from demonic forces, peace and joy.
Pastor Adeboye, who was in the State for 3 days has since returned to Lagos.
